Love does not end where loss begins.
“Praising what is lost makes the remembrance dear.” (William Shakespeare)
There is a quiet tenderness in remembering: in pausing, even for a moment, to honour what has been loved and lost.
For some, that remembering brings warmth or gratitude.
For others, it stirs feelings that are still raw.
And for many, it is both.
There is no right way to remember.
Sometimes it is a silent thought,
a name held close,
a breath,
a small gesture of love that continues on.
If today is one of those days for you,
may there be gentleness in the remembering,
and comfort in knowing that love never really leaves.
Questions For Coaches
- What does remembrance mean to you?
- How do you honour what still lives on in your heart?
- When you pause to remember, what helps you soften rather than brace?
You do not need to answer every question, just notice which one feels alive for you.
