Learning Through Experience

29 October 2025 by Jen Waller
A wooden mannequin figure holds a magnifying glass up to a bright white background. Through the lens, a large red exclamation mark is visible, symbolising discovery or realisation. Above it, in black text, is the quote: “Experience itself, the mother of all the sciences.” (Miguel de Cervantes) The image represents learning through direct experience and attentive observation.

True learning doesn’t come from theory but from experience. Awareness — not analysis — often reveals what we most need to see.

In a Hurry, Go Slowly

28 October 2025 by Jen Waller
An illustrated turtle wearing roller skates glides along a sunlit beach with the sea and sky in the background. Above it, in black text, is the quote: “I am in a hurry; therefore, I go slowly.” (Latin American proverb) The image playfully conveys the idea of calm, deliberate progress even when speed is available.

Hurrying rarely helps us get there faster. When we slow down, we move with steadiness — and often, that’s when progress truly begins.

Realising Sensations

27 October 2025 by Jen Waller
An impressionist-style landscape painting in soft blues, greens, and yellows depicts a mountain and surrounding countryside. Overlaid in white text is the quote: “Painting from nature is not copying the object, it is realizing sensations.” (Paul Cézanne) The image conveys a sense of texture, depth, and living presence — a visual expression of perceiving through feeling rather than imitation.

Cézanne said, “Painting from nature is not copying the object, it is realizing sensations.” When we live from that same space, life itself becomes art.

The Infinite Riches of Now

26 October 2025 by Jen Waller
An hourglass stands against a golden sunset sky, the sand flowing steadily from top to bottom. Above it, in black text, is the quote: “The present moment holds infinite riches beyond your wildest dreams.” (Jean Pierre de Caussade) The image evokes stillness, time, and the quiet abundance of the present moment.

When the mind stops racing toward what’s next, the ordinary becomes extraordinary. The present moment holds more than we often dare to see.

Time, Memory, and the Quiet of Now

23 October 2025 by Jen Waller

We spend so much time replaying the past or imagining the future that we forget to feel what’s here now. Presence doesn’t pause time — it lets us meet it.

The Speech You Actually Gave

20 October 2025 by Jen Waller
A warm orange speech bubble on a white background, containing the quote: "There are always three speeches, for every one you actually gave. The one you practiced, the one you gave, and the one you wish you gave." (Dale Carnegie) The image evokes communication, reflection, and the humanness of imperfection.

We often replay moments wishing they’d gone differently, but connection lives in what was real — not what might have been.

The Feeling of Being Fully Alive

16 October 2025 by Jen Waller
A close-up of a fountain pen writing on textured paper, softly focused and warmly lit. Text on the image reads: "Like to write? Of course, of course I do. I seem to live while I write — it is life, for me." (Elizabeth Barrett Browning) The image evokes presence, creativity, and the quiet joy of self-expression.

When we’re fully present to what brings us alive, it’s no longer about what we’re doing — it’s about being in it.

A clip from the overwhelm and stress reset masterclass
