The most popular quote from our twitter account from week 7 of 2015:

Most RT'd quotes last week on @thecoachingblog

Usually each Thursday I share the most RT’d quote(s) from the blogs twitter account over the previous week.

Due to health reasons I wasn’t able to create those posts over the past few weeks. Now I’m back on the mend and catching up. So all missing weeks will be published over the next few hours.

We’ll start with week 7 of 2015 the most RT’d tweet was a tie between:

“If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, you are a leader.”

(John Quincy Adams)

“Do not confuse motion and progress. A rocking horse keeps moving but does not make any progress.”

(Alfred A. Montapert)

and

“When I hear somebody sigh, ‘Life is hard,’ I am always tempted to ask, ‘Compared to what?'”

(Sydney Harris)

The next highest amount of RT’s was also a tie between:

“Everything you can imagine is real.”

(Pablo Picasso)

“When it is obvious that the goals cannot be reached, don’t adjust the goals, adjust the action steps.”

(Confucius)

and

“If you only do what you know you can do- you never do very much.”

thank you

Many thanks to everyone who shared the quotes above and the other quotes from last week. I know that there are various aspects that can influence if a quote attracts your attention – if you saw the tweet, personal style, if it speaks to something happening in your life at that moment etc.

Which quote do you prefer?

(For those of you as geeky as I am and wondering what tool I’m using to measure individual RT’s this week I’ve been playing with www.twitonomy.com)
