A reflection on curiosity, delight, and letting yourself care, with coaching questions
Since it’s Embrace Your Geekness Day, this quote seemed appropriate.
The world is full of astonishing things: tiny details, strange facts, unexpected beauty, quiet magic.
What we often lack isn’t more to marvel at… but the permission to marvel.
To let ourselves care deeply.
To follow our curiosity.
To get excited about what lights us up, even if it seems small, strange, or obscure.
I think Geekness, in the best sense, is just wonder with the volume turned up.
Coaching Reflection: The Spark of Wonder
- What brings out your inner geek – that joyful, full-hearted fascination?
- How do you help clients reconnect with what sparks their curiosity?
- Where do you see wonder in the ordinary?
- What shifts when we stop needing everything to be impressive, and just let it be interesting?
And as always:
No pressure to answer every question.
Let the one that lights something up in you stay a little longer.
Wonder grows in good company.
“The world will never starve for want of wonders; but only for want of wonder.”
(G. K. Chesterton)
