Where Do You Notice Heart?

On presence, attention, and seeing what’s already here—with coaching questions

It’s easy to assume that what makes something meaningful is what’s in it.
But maybe it’s also in the way we notice.

Sometimes heart is visible in the warmth of a space, in the welcome of a glance, or the quiet care woven into something simple.

Other times, it’s more subtle.
Felt, not seen. A quality in the air.
And we only catch it when we slow down enough to notice.

This doesn’t just apply to places.
We can find that same quality of heart in conversations, in projects, in pauses.
Even in the way we move through a moment.

It’s not always about what’s there.
It’s about what we’re open to seeing.

Coaching Reflection: The Heart You Notice

  • Where are you noticing heart in your life today?
  • What feels different when you slow down and really look?
  • How does the quality of your attention shape what you see in your clients?
  • What becomes visible when you let go of trying to find meaning, and just notice?

As always:
You don’t need to answer everything.
Let one question stay with you.
You might see something new the next time you look.

“The only thing that makes one place more attractive to me than another is the quantity of heart I find in it.”
(Jane Welsh Carlyle)
