A note for coaches:
Several years ago now I created this free 7-day confidence made easy e-course. At the time I didn’t specifically write it for an audience of coaches.
As is only natural my work has evolved and developed since then. I did consider stopping offering this course altogether but it is written and people still tell me that they find the tips and techniques useful. So it seems far more useful to keep offering it rather than it sitting gathering metaphorical dust on my computers hard drive!
I share this as one of the concerns that can stop a newer coach from taking the next step is that they believe that they will do things differently in the future. If you find yourself in that position – I’d like to encourage you not to let it stop you from doing something now.
So if you are reading this looking for the confidence to start “real” coaching, produce your own product, write your marketing etc how about you “give yourself a break”. Just allow yourself to do the best you can for now, accepting that the chances are that in the future you too will develop and evolve.
One of the earliest pieces of feedback I received for this e-course was from a gentleman who had used the tips and techniques to support him applying for a dream job. He emailed me full of joy just after he had started working in that role describing the difference this made for him.
I believe I’m constantly learning from experience and developing my own style etc. If I had put off writing an e-course until I was “done” it still wouldn’t be written. I’m also quite sure that the gentleman who used it to support him getting his dream job really didn’t care that I would change in years to come – he was interested in what he was doing right then!
